Was pretty much excited abt going...
packed my haversack which was very light...
but when i came back it was like a load of rocks being carried...
met up in sch n took a bus to Pungol jetty...
it was a one way transport...
DAY1amundsens
Once we reach de jetty we were split to our groups...
i was grouped wif KAMALRAJ, JIA MEI n ARIFF...
took de jetty n had to campsite 2
my instrutor KIAH like a gay at first but was de best one aft all...
we did a small intro n surrendered our belongings...
den got to choose our post....
i was de campsite in charge for day 2...
den went to our store checked for items...
air n dried tents, groundsheet n poncho...
den distributed ur rations for 5 days...
n got changed to long sleeves for kayaking...
it was fun as my group did tgt wif doggy's group...
i did capsize for de first time...
it was fun...
den wash up, pitch tent n did field cooking for dinner...
dinner was rice, hotdog, bakebeans n peanut...
did reflection writing n packed a new haversack for tmw...
did assemble as fire drill went off...
lights off...
day was tiring...
DAY2
woke up unpitch tents n gathered wif doggy's n Li Hui's group...
played squrial n trees game...
had breakfast n gathered again for ECO game...
my group lost at 1st round...
den emerged highest at 2nd round...
den champions at 3rd round...
had lunch n did learn belaying n did flyin fox...
it was fun but took alot of time to leaped off...
carried our new haversack n went for tracking...
we track 1 km to another spot for camping 1 nite...
when we went there it started to pour...
n had to pitch in de rain n did not hv a ground sheet...
luckly our spot was not tat wet..
den help other groups to pitch...
had dinner n lights off...
we had to do century duty...
it was freakingly dark...
but kinda fun...
DAY3
woke up had breakfast n unpitch tents...
chitchat n gathered for land expedition briefing...
it was 12kg of load on my shoulder n had to cover 4 places...
we track for abt 8 to 9 km...
reached back campsite 1 at around 4 or 5 pm...
i only liked de scenery which was 65m above ground...
it was super to c de Quarry filled wif fresh water n surrounded by trees...
de went to campsite to met up de reat n had a tour around...
pitch tents in de middle of a forest...
wash up n had dinner n supper which was delicious...
had a briefing on sea expedition wif instructors n group mates separately...
n lights out n was de first group to do century duty...
DAY4
same thing un pitch tents n hat breakfast...
changed to wet attire n took our haversacks to moto boat...
carried kayaks to sea n started our kayaking...
my kayak mates were KAMALRAJ n ARIFF...
it was fun cause i got to do wif someone i like...
we got lost in de river n started to rain when we kayak b4 entering de river...
had our break in de river...
did not capsize at all...
i was bullying doggy most of de time...
we were de first to reach back campsite 2...
we kayak abt 8 km for 6hrs...
it was fun...
got to do jetty jump n was de first to jump in de whole lot...
b4 tat wash kayaks, paddles n rerack them n unload our haversacks from de boat...
pitch tents, wash up n dinner...
was not feeling tat well...
went to sleep...
DAY5
woke up unpitch tents n had breakfast gathered for briefing...
on how to keep back things into store...
we had to pay for lost items so everyone went on de hunt for stuff...
each of us contributed $2.25 for lost items..
had a last debrief n money settlements...
got back belongings n certificate...
exchanged emails n set of to sourvinor shop...
bought a shirt for myself...
took a jetty n den a bus to punggol mrt...
got a rid back wif ERIN by her mom...
